As a highly qualified teacher with 19 years of experience in KS3, 4, and 5, I specialise in PE, Sport, Health and Social Care, and Performing Arts (Dance). Over the years, I have taught these subjects at GCSE and A-Level for AQA, OCR, and Pearson (Btec) with a consistently excellent success rate. I am confident in my ability to teach any curriculum and cater to individual learning styles.

In addition, I have experience in examining and moderating for OCR and Pearson (Btec), which has deepened my knowledge and expertise of working with GCSE and A-Level curriculums. My background includes a PE and Sports Science degree, as well as a PGCE in Physical Education from Worcester University, which equipped me to effectively plan and teach core and examination PE, implement new curriculums and specifications, and to learn and develop new subjects such as Health and Social Care and Dance.

As a former Head of Year and Designated Safeguard Lead, I am passionate about student wellbeing and safeguarding, and I am confident in using these skills to effectively tutor young people. Additionally, I am currently working for OCR as a school advisor, further enhancing my knowledge of GCSE and A-Level curriculums.

Finally, I am a trustworthy, motivated and enthusiastic teacher who remains calm under pressure. I enjoy helping young people unlock their potential and shaping young minds. My strengths include exam preparation, utilising effective revision methods, and fostering positive relationships with students.
