I have previously worked as a primary assistant head teacher and I now love being an independent tutor. I worked as an English subject leader for ten years. I particularly enjoy teaching children how to communicate effectively as this opens up many opportunities for their future success.
I hold an undergraduate Linguistics degree which is a firm foundation for the teaching of phonics and English grammar. During my teaching career I was responsible for leading teaching and learning of all subjects in Early Years and Key Stage 1. However, I also have experience of teaching older pupils GCSE English Language.
