I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in the UK as well as overseas. I have taught both the primary and secondary curriculum and have experience teaching at Special schools too specialising in autism. Subjects that I can tutor in are literacy, numeracy and humanities specialising in Religious Education for KS1 and KS2 students. For older students, I am able to tutor KS3 and I/GCSE English, Religious Studies, Psychology, Sociology and Health & Social Care and at AS/A-Level, mainly social science subjects including Psychology, Sociology and Health & Social Care. I am also able to support students who are completing vocational courses such as the BTEC.
I have been an examiner for AQA, WJEC and Pearson Edexcel as well as an assessor for the BTEC qualification. I have tutored 1:1 as well as in small groups and am happy to tutor face to face or remotely online during evenings, weekends and school holidays. Content covered can be reviewing lessons to support with assignments/homework as well as exam preparation and looking specifically at exam techniques.
