My name is Zoey and I am UK UK-qualified mathematics Teacher.
Having achieved 8*’s and 6 A’s at GCSE, I completed my A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at a local Grammar School. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Queen Mary University of London. As a result of my passion for teaching, I completed my PGDE through Teach First at the University College of London. Throughout my educational journey, I have worked as a tutor at a local Tuition Centre, where my passion was first ignited. I developed and mastered my skills, ultimately becoming the General manager of the Tuition Centre.
Being a General Manager at a local Tuition Centre for 10+ years has allowed me to interact with a range of students, all with their own unique needs and character traits. Having a sound understanding of these is what makes an Educator great. Understanding that learning should not be a one-size-fits-all approach, but personalised and tailored, is the type of learning experience every student needs in order to make maximum progress. With this knowledge, I have been tutoring for a number of years, primarily in Mathematics & Science for all-year groups. I have also taught English & 11+ Verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
