My son has been attending Lisa's A Star Tutors for nearly 2 years. They are extremely accommodating of what different subject input we needed, always finding us top class tutors, who could chop and change at a moments notice if we required help with a particular school topic. The tutors go above and beyond to try and find out what your child is meant to be studying specifically at their school and in our case have stretched and extended the learning of my son, far beyond that which he was getting in school, not only because they have 1:1, but because they tailor the work to make him fulfil his potential. The tutors are all lovely and my son has really taken to all if them (we have used 3 separate tutors so far for maths, science and English). The centre in Harborough has a homely welcome feel, and there are always plenty of biscuits and drinks for pupils (and parents!). Feedback is always given at the end of lessons and homework is provided if required. I am a teacher and would recommend this establishment to anyone, whether you require intervention, or extension work for your child.
